The Books of Era Part 6

Apologies to anyone that happens to follow Era here. I’ve been busy, sick with the flu, had sick kids with the flu, and busy some more. My other posts, the sneak peeks of the upcoming Tales from Big Spirit, have hopefully kept you occupied.

Now, where did we leave off…

In the previous installments, we are introduced to the world of the Illium, descendants of a godlike civilization that was brought low. Yet, while the ancient gods sleep, men like Captain Rannok search the world, seeking clues that may lead him to the Gifted Ones. Far away, on the edge of the Imperium, Seth is troubled by strange dreams. Even the Holywoman of his village may not have the knowledge to help him.

Seth abruptly leaves the Holy Woman, Lyllyth, upon seeing the return of a familiar sailing vessel. As Seth sneaks between the warehouses and crates he runs into men from the west.

Lucky for Seth a familiar face kept him from being cajoled onto the West Men ships. Unfortunately, it was his sister Sarah who rescued him and he had to endure her harsh affections. Now, Set is under her wing as she sails the hundreds of waterways in the Wild lands…
