7 Generations tells the story of Edwin, a troubled youth, who tries to commit suicide. His mother attempts to turn Edwin around by recounting his family’s history: stories that span the time of pre-colonial contact, through the small pox epidemic and the lasting effects of the Residential School System and it’s effects on them to the present day.

7 Generations was nominated for best illustrated book in the 2013 Manitoba Book Awards.
